Quick Catch Up

It was so much fun on Sunday at Kids Modern.... after we got over the initial panic, of how we were going to display our framed pictures, the first plummeted to the floor, much to our horror. We were surrounded by incredible companies, the food was delicious, Kate and I spent most of the day eating & we met such nice people, a big HELLO to all that stopped by to say "hi". It is becoming a bit of a reoccurring theme but yet again I forgot to take any proper pictures, I snapped these at the start as you can see the new print stand and vintage bed were perfect.

Our Boo Cushion has been hopping around in the press lately. It was featured in our favourite Junior

& all the way over in Australia

My Favourite Spot in Autumn Cushion also got a mention

Don't you just love it when the postman brings you a package for no reason other than that some one was thinking of you. Thank you for my beautiful tea towels Kristen & yes I will try very, very, very hard to use them, but it's going to be a struggle they are ssoooo beautiful.

Lastly the lovely Kat from Secrets of a Butterfly has started a Belle & Boo fan group on flickr it is called Belle & Boo Love. It's for people to submit photos of their Belleandboo purchases, in their homes, on their walls, clothes on their little ones etc. I have really enjoyed looking at the different ways people have displayed Belle & Boo around their homes. Here are a few of my favourite images.

& finally, finally THANK YOU to Carine (so lovely meeting you and your daughter on Sunday) for this link
Where to buy brilliant original artwork for your child's room…

Can you believe it Sotheby's, The Illustration Cupboard, Images of Delight, The Affordale Art fair and Belle & Boo, can see my beaming face from from where you are :)

Kids Modern

Just a little reminder to all our London readers that Kate and I will be at Kids Modern this Sunday in Dulwich. We are taking lots of Belle & Boo goodies to sell & are VERY excited indeed to get to play shop !

We will be taking our new print 'It was the Perfect Summers Day'. I designed it a while ago, when we were in talks with a US stroller company. What I guess you don't know about me is as well as all the lovely Etsy and webshop Belle & Boo stuff that I do, there are many other projects going on in the back ground. Some come to fruition & some don't, this one didn't, but we did get this cute illustration from it. Here are my mood boards for the stroller, how funny ! (click on them to see in more detail)

Our Lovely Photos

At last, I finished working on Ellie's beautiful photos from our first photo shoot. I am so pleased with how they turned out, I can't wait to share them with you now (click on the images to enlarge)

First we have our cute Spring Blouse & Shorts set based on my illustration 'My Favourite Spot in Spring'

Next our adorable Boo Pinafore, the shots were based on this illustration I did of belle wearing the pinnie

& lastly our Freedom dress, based on one of the first illustrations I ever did for Belle & Boo

There are tons of other stunning photos that are just beautiful photographs in their own right. I will upload some over the next few days, I just couldn't wait to share these.

Also look what arrived in the post for me today

My VERY talented brother in law Jolly, made this incredible box so we can display our mounted prints at our shows & exhibitions. I am blown away, he even painted it with 2 coats of primer in preparation for me to paint & on that note I better go and buy some paint !

THANK YOU JOL WE LOVE IT xxx
